Taking Chance

  Evening my friends . It’s been a busy couple of days  Three house showings and some family stuff to deal with.  Maybe that why tonight I needed to watch a movie and although this movie maybe was strange choice in light of what going on with the family. It’s was therapeutic. A movie recommendation,  Taking Chance directed by Ross Katz.   The movie is based on the recollections of U.S. Marine Lt. Col Michael Strobl, a real person,  ( Kevin Bacon) who accompanied the remains of Lance Corporal Chance Phelps, a Marine fatally wounded by gunfire near Baghdad during the Iraq War, from Dover Air Force Base to Dubois, Wyoming in April 2004. It had me shouting at the TSA agent for being a dick to the Kevin Bacon when he wanted him to remove his uniform jacket . To sobbing uncontrollably when Lt .Col Micheal Strobi meets up with other escort , escorting the remains of his brother.
