The old wise woman

 I read something really fascinating the other night and I’d like to share it with you.

We humans and a few mammals , killer whales are the only species that the female continue living after they have stop producing offspring.

Did you know that ? 

I didn’t , I hadn’t given it much thought that some species the female dies as soon as she gone into the post reproductive Phase. 

There are many Theories to why this happens but the one that I think I like the most.

 Is the this is the grandma hypothesis.

Evolutionary we have developed that the older female live longer so they can pass on their knowledge.

It’s makes complete sense to have an older females who teach and helps raise the future offspring.

Did you notice that I said, the female are not the male so maybe we are little bit more important in society than people have ever thought.  

Let’s face it we are the knowledge centers.

Without turning this into a political post, maybe women are a little bit more important than those men in power seem to think.

I know I could go on about our superior abilities but Beyoncé song who runs the world says it infinitely better than me.

Long live the wise women of the world.
